Led by Melanie Breaden, our physiotherapy clinic is situated in Lemon Tree Passage in Port Stephens—treating patients from elderly and NDIS clients, to sporting and working clients. With an inviting and relaxing waterfront location, our clinic has adequate parking, wheelchair access and a caring and dedicated team ready to handle your needs!
At Melanie Breaden Physiotherapy, we believe in providing a hands-on approach to treatment, with massage and manipulation services available. Most physios don’t offer this level of care, which is part of the reason we have so many loyal and returning customers. From remedial and deep tissue massage to dry needling and yoga classes, our team offers a comprehensive service that is hard to find elsewhere.
Melanie Breaden - Director & Physiotherapist
As a physiotherapist, I am trained to examine, evaluate, diagnose and treat impairment, functional limitations and disabilities using my eyes and hands. Visually, I can see if things are out of place and my hands not only confirm what I see, but can also check a joint’s range of motion and gauge available movement at ankles, knees, shoulders, hips and the spine.
Massage therapy is a major component of our treatment—however, we also pride ourselves on our knowledge and expertise in exercise prescription, to give our clients long term results.
Benita Guedon - Senior Physiotherapist
Benita is a senior physiotherapist at Melanie Breaden Physiotherapy. Benita has a special interest in pelvic floor rehab and continence, as well as Pilates rehab services with polestar – all equipment plus mat-work. When Benita isn’t in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family at home in the garden.
Keana Breaden - Massage Therapist & Receptionist
Keana is a massage therapist and a receptionist in the clinic. Keana enjoys helping people find their way back to better health through manual therapy. Bryony Tamsett - Massage Therapist & Yoga Teacher
Bryony is a massage therapist and a qualified yoga teacher. Bryony has worked in the massage field for 12 years and before moving to the peninsular, she operated a massage and yoga studio in the district hills in Sydney. Bryony loves to help people find relief from manual therapies and enjoy life. When Bryony isn’t in the clinic you will find her pottering in the garden with her daughter.
Jane Woollie - Massage Therapist
